I work in Cambridge offering short or long-term counselling (online and face-to-face) to people from a variety of backgrounds, including students and young adults. My aim is to provide a warm, safe and confidential environment in which clients feel comfortable to talk about their lives. I also offer clinical supervision to other counsellors and therapists.
I am a qualified, experienced counsellor and a registered accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), operating to its strict ethical framework.
Coming to counselling can be daunting and finding the right counsellor is crucial. Building trust and forging a relationship is essential and I am committed to every client - the focus is very much on the individual.
I offer a mix and match style of counselling using a variety of techniques and work with different approaches (in counselling terms this is called an integrative person-centred approach). I feel it is important to recognise that we are all different and therefore we all have different needs – what works for one person doesn’t necessarily work for another. Most of my work is centered around 1:1 face-to-face talking.
My Private Practice includes working with a number of Cambridge Colleges and various EAP providers, including LifeWorks and BEN.
